Volleyball Recap: Orem Extends Winning Streak to Three

Orem waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Uintah Utes. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Orem won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-22.

Orem's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Uintah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Orem is set to face off against their familiar foe Summit Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Uintah will take on rival Timpanogos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
