Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Cottonwood's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cottonwood walked away with it. They walked away with a 43-32 victory over the Geneva County Bulldogs on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-42 last Saturday.

Cottonwood has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Geneva County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Cottonwood will take on Providence Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Christian will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Cottonwood surely won't give up without a fight. Geneva County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
