Volleyball Recap: North Broward Prep Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. North Broward Prep fell 3-1 to St. John Paul II Academy. North Broward Prep has struggled against St. John Paul II Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-18, 25-12.

St. John Paul II Academy found their leader in sophomore Jack Rex, who had 16 kills, six aces, and four digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Phoenix Venger, who had 13 kills.

North Broward Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

While North Broward Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
