Baseball Recap: Millington Central Trojans vs. Munford Cougars

Millington Central extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 7-25 in the process. They came up short against the Munford Cougars, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat back in April.

As for Munford, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-14. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Munford's part, Drew McCann looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, McCann posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
