Baseball Game Preview: Bucyrus Redmen vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

Bucyrus is 0-7 against Upper Sandusky since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Redmen are taking a road trip to take on the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Bucyrus has given up an average of 15.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bucyrus is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 25th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 23-2 to Mansfield Senior.

Bucyrus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micah Burke, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Upper Sandusky's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 6-2 to Mohawk. Rams fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Wednesday.

Bucyrus' loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Upper Sandusky, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-3.

Bucyrus might still be hurting after the 11-2 loss they got from Upper Sandusky when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Redmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
