Basketball Recap: Marion Harding Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Marion Harding waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Pleasant Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 47-29. Given the Presidents' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Spartans are ranked 473rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Pleasant lost, don't look at Evan Sickmiller. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-8 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Owen Lowry, who posted six points.
