Meanwhile, Galax had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of Narrows. The loss continues a trend for the Maroon Tide in their meetings with the Green Waves: they've now lost five in a row.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Galax, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
