Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain Range Mustangs. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Bear Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Thomas Amirah and Hajjar Shawish, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Hannah Anderson and her 12 assists.

Bear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mountain Range, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Bear Creek and Littleton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Mountain Range, they will take on Riverdale Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
