Basketball Recap: Paradise Valley Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

After losing to Cactus the last time they met, Paradise Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Paradise Valley Trojans came out on top against the Cactus Cobras by a score of 46-39 on Saturday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Cobras are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Paradise Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Cactus, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Paradise Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cactus: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
