James Wood barely beat Fauquier the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colonels breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 59-13 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

Owen Neal had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 368 yards and three TDs while picking up 15.3 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Those 368 passing yards gave him a new career-high. James Wood's leading receiver Kaden McCullough was Neal's top target yet again, picking up 169 receiving yards and two scores.

When it comes to explaining why Fauquier lost, don't look at Payne Massey. Despite the final result, he rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries.

James Wood's record is now 7-3. As for Fauquier, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
