Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Finds Home Court Redemption Against Clay Center

There's no place like home for Rock Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Clay Center Tigers on Tuesday. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Rock Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Clay Center, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.
