Basketball Recap: Durham Charter Takes a Loss

Durham Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of the Heritage Leadership Academy Fletchers. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Heritage Leadership Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonathan Adams out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. Adams is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Peterson, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Durham Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Heritage Leadership Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Durham Charter nor Heritage Leadership Academy have any future games scheduled.
