West Chicago and Glenbard South pushed the score to 15-6 the last time they played Glenbard South, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since April 11th.

The result came thanks to Jasmyn Trigueros's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brielle Borner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.
