Football Recap: North Forsyth Raiders vs. Lambert Longhorns

After flying high against South Forsyth last Friday, North Forsyth came back down to earth. The Raiders came up short against the Lambert Longhorns on Thursday, falling 48-27. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost three in a row.

North Forsyth's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darron Parry, who rushed for 75 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. Another pass catcher making a difference was Cash Martin, who picked up 129 receiving yards and one TD.

A big part of Lambert's victory came down to the chemistry between Ethan Daughtery and his top target Nathaniel Fernander.
