Basketball Recap: Blytheville Victorious

Blytheville hadn't done well against Pocahontas recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Blytheville Chickasaws walked away with a 46-38 win over the Pocahontas Redskins. The Chickasaws have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redskins, too.

Blytheville's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-7. As for Pocahontas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Blytheville will face off against Gosnell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pocahontas, they will take on Westside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
