Football Recap: Blanche Ely Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Blanche Ely extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were beaten by the Coconut Creek Cougars 46-6. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

As for Coconut Creek, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Coconut Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josiah Sanchious, who rushed for 41 yards and one TD, and also threw for 76 yards and one touchdown. Another receiver making a difference was Everett Butler, who picked up 47 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Looking ahead, Blanche Ely will head out to face off against Monarch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coconut Creek, they will welcome Stoneman Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
