Football Recap: Hatton/Northwood Has No Trouble Against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, Hatton/Northwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. This was payback for the Thunder, who suffered a 53-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Hatton/Northwood back to even at 1-1. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hatton/Northwood is set to challenge their familiar foe South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] on Friday. This will be the Thunder's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood will face off against rival LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on Friday. The match will also give the Warbirds their first taste of in-conference action this season.
