The Lyme Central Indians couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 48-37 to Copenhagen on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lyme Central in their matchups with Copenhagen: they've now lost six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Copenhagen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Carroll, who almost dropped a triple-double on 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 blocks. The matchup was Carroll's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Landon Sullivan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Lyme Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Copenhagen, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyme Central will challenge Beaver River at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Copenhagen, they will head out on the road to face off against Altmar-Parish-Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
