The Jordan-Matthews Jets will head out on the road to take on the Phoenix Academy Firebirds at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Jordan-Matthews can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Friday. They had to suffer through an 86-57 loss at the hands of Lee County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Jets have suffered against the Yellow Jackets since November 28, 2018.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Academy's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on Surry HomeSchool with a sharp 74-53 victory. The Firebirds haven't had any issues with the Runnin' Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Everything went Jordan-Matthews' way against Phoenix Academy in their previous matchup back in January, as Jordan-Matthews made off with a 65-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
