Ontario Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Ramos, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Ramos is becoming a predictor of the Knights' success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-1 (and 3-16 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Aquinas waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aquinas also got a great performance from Hayden Vanderhoof as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave Vanderhoof a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Jacob Bitonti was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Estaban Olazaba, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Aquinas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arrowhead Christian only managed four hits.

Aquinas pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Ontario Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Ontario Christian might still be hurting after the 13-3 loss they got from Aquinas in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
