Basketball Recap: South Lyon East Takes a Loss

South Lyon East lost against Lakeland on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Lyon East Cougars fell 51-40 to the Lakeland Eagles.

South Lyon East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

South Lyon East (ranked 239th) will meet Ford (ranked 611th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lakeland will challenge Walled Lake Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday up 429 places (147 vs. 576).
