Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia and South Glens Falls squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Columbia had to settle for second. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. If they were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for South Glens Falls, their record now sits at 15-3.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Glens Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Averill Park at 5:00 p.m. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
