Basketball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Pueblo East Eagles, falling 72-30. The Stallions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-15.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pueblo East, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Sierra will head out to challenge Canon City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pueblo East, they will take on Widefield in a tournament on Thursday. Widefield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season.
