Basketball Recap: Easley's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Easley came into Thursday's contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hillcrest Rams by a score of 42-33 on Thursday.

Easley's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-15. As for Hillcrest, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley and Greenville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Greenville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Easley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillcrest, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Woodmont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest is facing Woodmont at the right time seeing as Woodmont is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
