Soccer Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

Midland Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Aiken this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 two weeks ago.

Midland Valley's record is now 5-17. As for Aiken, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland Valley will challenge Strom Thurmond at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midland Valley are facing Strom Thurmond at the right time seeing as Strom Thurmond are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Aiken, they will take on Hampton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
