Football Recap: H-L-V Comes Up Short

If H-L-V was feeling good fresh off their 62-6 takedown of Meskwaki Settlement last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the English Valleys Bears on Friday, falling 52-32. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

H-L-V's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for English Valleys, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. H-L-V is set to face off against their familiar foe WACO on Friday. Meanwhile, English Valleys will challenge rival Winfield-Mt. Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
