Amity fell victim to Blanchet Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 35-0 to the Cavaliers. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Amity's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Blanchet Catholic, their victory was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0.

Coming up, Amity will face off against Dayton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Blanchet Catholic, they are taking a road trip to challenge Yamhill-Carlton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.81 runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
