La Feria was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Port Isabel on Monday. Everything went the La Feria Lions' way against the Port Isabel Tarpons as the La Feria Lions made off with a 15-1 win. Considering the Lions have won five games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

La Feria now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Port Isabel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as La Feria Lions face off against Valley View Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Port Isabel, they will face off against Edinburg North at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
