Volleyball Recap: Rifle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rifle came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Battle Mountain Huskies, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered since October 30, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-5, 25-10.

Rifle dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Rifle and Battle Mountain will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bears see the court they'll take on Glenwood Springs at 6:30 p.m. on September 16. As for Battle Mountain, their break will end when they face Summit at 6:30 p.m. on September 9.
