Bryant is 9-1 against North Little Rock since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hornets will square off against the Charging Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Bryant will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, Bryant got the win against Jonesboro by a conclusive 13-4. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Little Rock made easy work of Central on Tuesday and carried off an 8-1 win. The Charging Wildcats are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Londyn Dempster made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubree Kimmons, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Sophia Gassman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

North Little Rock lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Bryant pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Little Rock, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Everything went Bryant's way against North Little Rock in their previous meeting back in March, as Bryant made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
