Volleyball Recap: Midland's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Midland waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Peoria Heights Patriots by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Wednesday.

Midland never let Peoria Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11.

Midland's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Peoria Heights, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Midland will take on Henry-Senachwine in a tournament on Saturday. As for Peoria Heights, they will square off against West Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
