Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Faith Christian Eagles

Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up ten more assists than your opponent, a fact the Sheridan Blackhawks proved on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Faith Christian 86-53 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sheridan.

Trent Decrane was on fire: he scored 30 points along with six assists. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Garner, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Isaac Neyhart, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neyhart has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rj Berry, who scored eight points.

Sheridan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Faith Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will challenge Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clinton Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Faith Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seeger at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Seeger focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
