Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). Their defense stepped up to hand the McDonough Warhawks a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Kiley Wright as she scored three goals for her team.

Woodland now has a winning record of 7-6. As for McDonough, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Coming up, Woodland will venture away from home to take on Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McDonough does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
