Desert Christian is 8-2 against Faith Baptist since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will challenge the Contenders at 3:30 p.m. Desert Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Shane Idelman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Logan Mount also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Faith Baptist fell victim to Trinity Classical Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Knights. The Contenders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Desert Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Faith Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Desert Christian took their win against Faith Baptist when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
