Saratoga Springs extended their postseason success on Friday against Niagara Falls. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wolverines 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Blue Streaks as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

Thomas Mcnamara tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Raul Rodriguez was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Saratoga Springs' record now sits at 20-6. As for Niagara Falls, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Saratoga Springs will take on Ketcham at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Storm's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Blue Streaks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Niagara Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
