Soccer Recap: Fonda-Fultonville Comes Up Short

Fonda-Fultonville came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Schoharie Storm, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Fonda-Fultonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Schoharie are ranked 58th).

Fonda-Fultonville has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Schoharie, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Coming up, Fonda-Fultonville will be playing in front of their home fans against Cohoes at 4:30 a.m. on Friday. Schoharie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
