Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Madison was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Corydon Central Panthers. The Cubs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Corydon Central, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will face off against New Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Corydon Central, they will square off against Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
