Heritage Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Birmingham Patriots. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 7-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Erika Laufer, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in doubles. Another player making a difference was Summer Hill, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Birmingham, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Heritage Christian and Birmingham will both be playing West Ranch the next time they take the field. Heritage Christian will head out to face West Ranch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Birmingham will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
