Softball Game Preview: Wortham Bulldogs vs. Frankston Indians

For the second straight game, Wortham will face off against Frankston. Wortham will head out on the road to square off against Frankston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wortham is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wortham's offense. They came up short against Frankston on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Katelynn Spain spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
