Hinsdale South won the last time they faced Riverside-Brookfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 28-26.

Hinsdale South's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Riverside-Brookfield, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 20-11 record.
