The Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs will head out on the road to take on the Keefe Tech Broncos at 6:30 p.m. Keefe Tech took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Assabet Valley RVT, who comes in off a win.
Assabet Valley RVT had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Francis Parker Charter Essential School on Friday as Assabet Valley RVT made off with a 59-38 win. The win was just what Assabet Valley RVT needed coming off of a 46-26 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Keefe Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Advanced Math & Science Academy.
Keefe Tech's loss came about despite a quality game from George Anastos, who scored 16 points. Noah Lyons was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Assabet Valley RVT's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Keefe Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Assabet Valley RVT might still be hurting after the 49-25 defeat they got from the Broncos in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Assabet Valley RVT avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
