It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Emery had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the American Leadership Academy Eagles 19-1. Emery's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Hayden Abrams was incredible, going 4-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Trygg Jensen, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.
On American Leadership Academy's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Fenn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
The win made it two in a row for Emery and bumps their season record up to 16-11. As for American Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.
