Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southington). They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Platt Panthers on Friday. Alannah Terry was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Southington now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Platt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Southington will venture away from home to face off against Berlin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Platt, they will square off against New Britain at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Platt will be up against New Britain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
