Volleyball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton lost against Pace back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-7.

Jaden Brock paced Milton's offense, picking up seven kills. Brock got some help from Emma Messer and her eight assists. Liah Vanek controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Liv Riffell went supernova For Pace., getting 18 digs and three aces. Riffell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Milton dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Pace, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Milton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Excel on the 4th. As for Pace, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Navarre on the 4th.
