Soccer Recap: Land O' Lakes Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against New Jerusalem Christian Academy

Land O' Lakes Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the New Jerusalem Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Land O' Lakes Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New Jerusalem Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The victory keeps New Jerusalem Christian Academy at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Land O' Lakes Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on September 9. As for New Jerusalem Christian Academy, they will face off against Central Baptist Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
