Soccer Game Preview: Scranton Prep vs. Wyoming Area

The Scranton Prep Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Wyoming Area Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Scranton Prep's offense. They lost 4-0 to Bloomsburg on Thursday. Scranton Prep have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Wyoming Area waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Scranton Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Wyoming Area, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.

Scranton Prep took their win against Wyoming Area when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Do the Cavaliers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
