Softball Game Preview: Goldwater Bulldogs vs. Thunderbird Titans

The Goldwater Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Thunderbird Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Goldwater has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Goldwater fell victim to Greenway and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Demons. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Thunderbird came up short against Deer Valley on Friday, falling 10-3.

Brooke Casey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Goldwater, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Goldwater beat Thunderbird 6-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2019. Does Goldwater have another victory up their sleeve, or will Thunderbird turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
