Gorham is 8-2 against Sanford since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Gorham Rams will challenge the Sanford Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gorham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 60-28 win over Bonny Eagle. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Scots are ranked 111th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sanford won against Massabesic last Saturday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Sanford beat Massabesic by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 67-27. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Gorham's record now sits at 15-4. As for Sanford, their record is now 15-5.
