Basketball Recap: Syriah Hogan Key Part of a Team Effort in Red Devils Win

Lincoln County hadn't done well against Lake Oconee Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lincoln County Red Devils walked away with a 50-39 victory over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 67-42 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Lincoln County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Syriah Hogan led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Hogan is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Janiah Norman, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
