Football Game Preview: Brown City Green Devils vs. Dryden Cardinals

The Brown City Green Devils will challenge the Dryden Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Brown City is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Kingston, who was ranked fourth at the time (Brown City was ranked 13th). The Green Devils took a blow against the Cardinals on Friday, falling 48-20. The Green Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Dryden ended up a good deal behind Capac on Friday and lost 72-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

Dryden's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Brown City, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Brown City against Dryden in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-6 victory. Will the Green Devils repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
